The Spirit of Northview Marching Band and Color Guard is the most active ensemble in the program. This group represents the entirety of the program and includes woodwind, brass, percussion, and color guard students.

Each year, the Spirit of Northview performs in the following events:
SCSBOA Competitive Field Shows
Home and away football games
Local parades including the Ontario 4th of July parade and Covina Christmas parade
Basketball games during the spring semester
Regular school and community events
The Spirit of Northview has been an SCSBOA Championship finalist six times.
2022 1A Division - 4th place, 75.20
2021 1A Division - 4th place, 76.01
2019 1A Division - 12th place, 71.20
2011 1A Division - 12th place, 62.85
2005 1A Division - 6th place, 61.50
In the Spring semester, a small pep band is brought to the home varsity basketball games.
During the 2019 season, the varsity girl's team won league, CIF Southern Section, and qualified to play for state. The pep band took the trip to Sacramento to play for the girl's team!
